Shopping for new eyeglasses should be fun, not stressful. America’s Best makes it easy to find frames that fit your lifestyle, budget, and vision needs.
If this is your first time shopping for frames, you might feel a little lost when you walk into our store. At America’s Best, we want to make it easy for you to find a pair of eyeglasses you’ll be happy wearing every day.
Here’s your game plan for picking out new frames from our displays.
Has it been a while since your last eye exam? Now’s the time to book an appointment!
Eyeglasses Categories
We sort our eyeglasses into four categories:
- Men’s
- Women’s
- Kids
- Sunglasses
Shopping for a specific brand? We also group some of our name-brand frames together so they’re easy to find. We’re proud to offer hundreds of designer glasses at much lower prices than you’ll get at other stores. And when you buy two pairs, your eye exam is free.
We also arrange our eyeglasses in each category by price, so if you’re sticking to a budget, it’s easy to see all your options. Once you’ve found your category, you’ll see there are a ton of great options to choose from. Take some time to check out all of the styles. You might be surprised at what catches your eye.
Metal vs. Plastic
Your frames will be metal or plastic. Now, here’s the difference:
- Metal frames tend to be a little lighter and more minimalist.
- Plastic frames are thicker, more durable, and come in more shapes and sizes.
Today, you can find a wide variety of looks in both materials, from “down to business” to attention-grabbing. So, it’s a good idea to try on a few frames in each material to see what feels comfortable. What gives you the look you’re going for? Do you wear your eyeglasses while you exercise? Some plastic frames are more resistant to sweat than metal frames.
Trying On Glasses
When you’re ready to start trying on frames, choose styles in a few different colors and shapes. Try it on before you rule it out. Our staff is trained to help you find a pair you’ll love. It might help to think about a favorite pair of sunglasses that you own or even a pair of glasses you admired on a celebrity or friend. Let us know, and we can show you frames that closely match.
Found your perfect styles? Great. You can use your FSA and HSA funds on eyeglasses at any America’s Best store. We’re here to help you find the eyeglasses that fit your style and your budget.
